Why does this damn thing work sometimes and not work others? Well. What do ya do? Another week of tedium has proceeded this important message. And if ya believe that one I have some swamp land in the Mississippi Delta for sale. CHEAP!!! I try to put in a link. It doesn't work. I try again. It doesn't work. I check it a couple of days later. Alas, it did work. Now it looks like I don't know what I'm doing with this freakin blogger. My Lady Fair will fix this. I can assure you. She could program the ass off this system. No question. That is what she does for a day job. She really should be a full-time artist if you ask me. She has the most amazing way of conveying her mental images into art on glass. Blows me away everytime. She has her own blog. Matter of fact it was her that got me blogging. I know, I know, and you have reason to dislike her now. But, if you weren't so interested in personal meanderings, you would be somewhere else now wouldn't you.

I must say this weather in Atlantic Canada is most disturbing. Last Saturday nite at midnight the temperature was -40, (that's MINUS FORTY), degrees Celsius with the windchill. This Saturday, as we get deeper into winter, approaching the shortest day of the year, the temperature was a balmy +8 (PLUS EIGHT) with rain no less. And they are calling for Thunder showers Monday to wash away the foot of snow we received on Friday. Go figure.

Anyone like Football? I love American football. I can't stand the CFL. Canadian Football League, for the uninformed few. Lady Fair insists this is not football. She is English you see. Manchester United and all that. To the rest of the world, that is football. To us North Americans, it is Soccer. On her latest sojurn to her native land she bought me an authentic Man U jersey. Beautiful. I love it. I have only worn it three times. I don't want to soil it. Man U is, in sports incon terms, bigger than the Yankees, the Cowboys, the Lakers, or the Avalanche, in value. They're worth like 500 million pounds. Which is about 1.3 billion Canadian, or 900 Million American. I guess the new 252 million dollar man from baseball would like a piece of that pie. On second thought. Maybe Dubya would like the owners to start contributing to his next campaign. Gonna have to buy off alot of judges, counters...etc next time to George.

Sorry to any American readers that may see this blog. It seems that I enjoy taking shots at your democracy and the meaning of the presidency of the U.S. This is true, but only in a very light hearted, superficial manner. I am left with nothing to shoot at, in political terms, when it comes to my own beloved country. It is stagnant, stale, old, hypocritical, warped, and utterly lifeless. I wish I had more passion for it, but I didn't even vote in the last election. My choices were less than worthy of my allegance. I studied the platforms of the parties involved, I reviewed thier mandates, and unfortunately, I could barely differentiate between them when it came to the real issues. They see-sawed on every relevant point ad nauseum until we were all left befuddled as to what they were actually planning to do. I may seem like a coward for not voting. But it was purely principal. And trust me, I did make an informed decision. I would have spoiled the ballot intentionaly, or marked none of the above. Must put this wandering bit of blog to rest for this episode. CYA!
This is her Blog-so don't blame me...
